How to Connect Dell XPS 17 Inch with HDMI Cable to LCD Tv Toshiba

It took me 2 weeks to find out why i am unable to connect my lappy Dell XPS to LCD TV using HDMI Cable.

1. I bought the wrong HDMI Cable
2. I bought the Display HDMI Adapter which is my Laptop unable to read it.

Solution:
I bring the HDMI Cable and the Display Adapter to Computer Technician, and they found out that I've been using the Wrong HDMI Cable. That is 1.4 orginally. My Laptop only able to use HDMI 1.3 instead of 1.4. That cable 1.3 cost me about RM35. Huhu i wasted RM25 previously buying the wrong cable HDMI 1.4. Trying to get the cheaper price, but instead buying the wrong cable.

After made a few changes in display setting, then i manage to use the HDMI cable and connect perfectly to my LCD TV.

Huhuhu.. finally at last i can play game using my LCD Tv, ooo yeaaaaaaa and watch my favorite Movie MERLIN.

To Force Kill process using Task Manager and Task Kill under Command Prompt

This always happen when one of my program is hang and it wouldn't close even i click the X button at the top of the menu.  Not even when windows prompt to end the process.  It still hanging there.

I usually using 2 steps to kill this process:

1. Using the Task Manager.  Just right click anywhere in your desktop and you will get this options, choose Start Task Manager.  This is the easiest way to kill those process.



Click the Process Tab, select which process you want to end and click "end process" at the bottom of this window.




2. Using Task in Command Prompt. (a lil bit technical). Run the command prompt. In order to get this for windows 7, go start and you can see a small box with binocular stated search programs and files. Type 'cmd' inside this box.  For other windows, go start and click run.  then Type 'cmd'.


- type tasklist and you will see your process.  If you unable to see your process type tasklist |more.  Note down the full process name eg firefox.exe.
- to force kill the process type taskkill /im firefox.exe /f

Holiday Island Games Download

Last time i am so hook with this old windows game. And now am playing it again with Windows 7. It works but you need to download the DosBox in order to run in new Windows environment. Some more this is not a Dos Game. Its an old Windows game.
